Steve is not a dog trainer. Steve is a people trainer, that is very good at teaching dog training principles.
We spent 1 1/2 to 2 hours of training each day. It was 6 consecutive days of pretty intensive and comprehensive training.
Steve would work with our dog showing us the principles of training. We would then repeat those skills then Steve would critique us and correct anything we were doing wrong.
This was key to us to make sure we understood the training principles.
We don’t live in Utah, we live in Nevada 4 hours away, but we made the decision to bring our 9 month old Cane Corso, Rooster in for this training.
Steve was kind enough to cater a training program that would fit our schedule and needs.
We knew immediately after our initial 20 minute phone consultation that Steve’s program would be a good fit for our Rooster.
We are still on our journey of training this sometimes stubborn little (huge actually)
puppy of ours! But we are working towards the goal of an attentive and obedient dog.
To sum it up, we can’t recommend Steve highly enough, his training method works for us and we feel it would be successful for any dog owner that is willing to put in the time.
